Acceptance of Terms

By requesting an estimate, scheduling service, providing payment information, submitting payment, or allowing First Maid to perform cleaning services in your home, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

First Maid is the residential cleaning brand operated by Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc.

Verbal authorization carries the same effect as a written or electronic signature.

Estimates & Pricing

• All prices provided are estimates only and represent a minimum service rate.

• Final pricing may increase or decrease by up to $100 on the day of service based on:

  • Actual condition of the home

  • Level of buildup

  • Accessibility

  • Time required to complete the service

• Estimates are valid for 15 days from the date issued.

• All pricing includes standard cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise stated.

Retainer, Authorization & Non-Refundable Charges

• A non-refundable 50% retainer is required to secure any appointment.

• Appointments are NOT confirmed until:

  1. This agreement is approved, and

  2. The non-refundable retainer is charged

IMPORTANT – NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER

• By providing your credit card information online, by phone, or by any other method, you expressly authorize Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc. to immediately charge the non-refundable retainer.

• Verbal authorization provided over the phone carries the same legal weight as a written signature.

• No refunds will be issued for retainers under any circumstances.

• Retainers may only be transferred to a future date if proper notice is given in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Scope of Services – Exclusions

Unless explicitly added in writing and reflected on your estimate, services DO NOT INCLUDE:

• Interior or exterior windows

• Washing dishes

• Organizing or tidying

• Laundry

• Inside ovens or refrigerators

1. Licensing, Insurance & Employment Standards

       Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc. is licensed, bonded, and insured.

   

    All technicians are:

• W-2 employees (never subcontractors)

• Cleared through local, state, and federal background checks

• Professionally trained and certified through ISSA Residential and Perfect Maintenance Cleaning

Employee Solicitation & Non-Circumvention

Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc. invests significant time, money, and resources into recruiting, training, and retaining our employees.

By agreeing to this contract, you acknowledge that:

• You may not solicit, recruit, or hire any Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc. employee for private or side work.

• A $4,500 finder’s fee will be charged if a client hires or attempts to hire a Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc. employee outside of our services.

• Any solicitation will result in:

  • Immediate and permanent termination of service

  • Forfeiture of unused gift cards

  • Enforcement of the $4,500 fee

• This restriction applies during employment and for one (1) year after the employee separates from Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc..

Service Limitations & Safety Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service immediately if unsafe or prohibited conditions are present.

 

We do not provide:

• Carpet cleaning

• Furniture moving

• Biohazard cleanup (including feces or urine from any source)

• Pest-infested homes (roaches, bed bugs, rats, fleas, etc.)

• Cleaning in unsafe environments (aggressive pets or people, visible black mold, active construction)

 

If technicians arrive and unsafe conditions are present:

• The team may leave immediately

• The full service charge will apply, including forfeiture of any retainer

 

Additional acknowledgments:

• Water and electricity must be available

• We cannot guarantee removal of permanent stains, mold staining, or mineral buildup

• Dust resettlement may occur

• We do not use customer step ladders and remain OSHA-compliant

• Before/after photos may be taken for quality assurance, documentation, and social media promotion

24-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee (No Refund Policy)

• Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc. does not offer refunds.

• Concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service.

• We will make reasonable efforts to re-clean within 24 business hours (excluding weekends).

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Allow arrival windows:

  • 8:30 AM appointments: ±15 minutes

  • All others: ±1 hour

• Secure pets and aggressive animals

• Keep children away from active cleaning areas

• Understand that clutter or dishes may increase time and cost

• For Move-In/Move-Out cleans:

  • Home must be vacant

  • Power and water must be on

  • No vendors or contractors present

  • Cabinets, drawers, and shelves must be empty

Failure to meet these conditions may result in full charges without service performed.

Payment, Cancellation & Scheduling

Payment

• Payment is due at time of service

• Credit cards are securely stored as backup payment

• Balances unpaid after 36 hours incur a $15 late fee

Cancellation & Rescheduling

• 36 hours’ notice required (business hours only; nights/weekends excluded)

• Retainers are forfeited without proper notice

• Lockouts or denied access may result in up to 75% charge

Holiday Policy

• Two weeks’ notice required

• Less notice results in 100% charge

Recurring Skip Fees

• Weekly → Charged Bi-Weekly rate next visit

• Bi-Weekly → Charged Monthly rate next visit

• Monthly → Charged 50% increase next visit

Rates return to normal after the next completed service.

Damage & Liability

• We are not responsible for damage to unstable, unsecured, or improperly installed items.

• Items valued over $25 must be disclosed.

• Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service.

Final Acknowledgment

By providing credit card information, or giving verbal authorization, or letting us into your home to clean, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms above and Florida Cleaning Concepts, Inc.’s full Terms & Conditions.
